Tar12
Another productive fun morning out in Mother Nature’s back yard.
Funny I never really got into squirrel hunting but have a friend that enjoys putting 8-10 in the freezer for a few meals in the wintertime. Those fox squirrels look like a nice size compared to the grey squirrels we have here. We also have the red squirrel and flying squirrel here but they are even smaller than the grey squirrel.
All in all it’s great to be outdoors with best companions enjoying what nature has to offer. This is what I love when going meat shopping for the best available and the shopping is a lot of fun too. ;D

Good shooting! I like squirrel hunting, but hate cleaning them. I haven't found an easy way yet.

There is a method that works well if warm, when cold it is tough. One cuts around the back legs and stands on the tail for leverage. If warm even skinning them like a rabbit is not too bad. Good eating those fox squirrels.
