Joe, It has been 11 yrs since I got my "Squirrel girl" but I lived at Squirrel Dog Central for a couple of yrs before deciding. Mandy's mom was a world champion and the sire was a National champion. I had bought several Quote, unquote sq dgs and they did not work out, one of which I bought from a breeder in Surry. Keep in mind though that he could have learned alot in 11 yrs. Also IIRC, in the sq dog world the dogs under thirty lbs are feist and the ones over 30 lbs are curs. Let me know if I can be of more help, Rusty

Thanks Rusty, You know me I am trying to go cheap! ;D All I have ever used are terrier/poodle mutts for squirrels. Right now I have a Doberman, Boston terrier and a Lab/Border collie mutt. The Boston chases flying buzzards. The Doberman kills skunks, and the mutt blood trails deer. Joe

Tar, That is a beautiful dog. Do they get much bigger than that? Thanks Joe The females will top out 35-45lbs.In this line the males will top out at 55-60 lbs. This line of dogs are protective of the home front and family members. I can not say enough good about them!
