A weird thing happened this morning with my ex caliber 380. I actually dry fired it and the dry fire prevention device caughtthe string, but when I shot it again it went from being dead on at 40 yards two 6 inchs low at 40 yards, still shooting very tight groups checked everything, everythings snug everything's tight. The only thing I can think of is when the anti dry fire device caught the string it torqed up on the scope mount and anti dry fire device enough drop the impact that far. You guys that know more about this than I do is there anything I should check to make sure nothing's damaged, limbs string scope everything seems just fine I readjusted the scope and and once again shooting dead on very small groups at 40 yards

If it’s shooting consistently I’d say it knocked your scope out of zero but could be wrong.

Still doing well, either the scope or the mount. But seems to be holding now.

the shock slightly moved the whole top section that the scope and ADF is built into, there are 4 screws holding it secure, just make sure they are tight now. this happens alot when excal dry fires occur. you should be ok after resighting the xbow in and rechecking those screws. those screws can also just work loose on their own causing the same problem.

I should check more often. Your string got stretched from the dry fire. Just twist the string back up to your brace ht.
