Never in my life have I dealt with such a level of pain for a prolonged period of time. I have read about passing of kidney stones but only until now fully understand the pain associated with it. You would think that after 2-weeks all would be well. Not in this case as I was passing kidney stones, I also passed blood that led to a urinary tract infection that complicated matters. This required a specific anti biotic to deal with it. This so far has been a 3-week ordeal and isn’t over yet.
The only possible good point is the time of occurrence as the weather has not been good for further PT testing. So it’s time to continue resting hoping this will pass soon.

Ed, I’ll be praying for you. I’ve had 3 kidney stones that lasted exactly 7 days each. Excruciating! But, didn’t have a superimposed infection which makes you feel bad and (?) Septra or Cipro maybe that also zaps you’re strength. After this, drink water incessantly. I still do out of fear of a recurrence.

Everyone, Thanks for the thoughts of a speedy recovery. I hope for one also so that I can resume a normal life. SW, you have obviously also dealt with this affliction and can appreciate what one has to endure. This final phase of healing is going slow with constant urination that limits my movement. Hopefully I can soon reduce my bathroom visits as the weather is turning and make some range time.
Ed

They are horrible heart rate dropped to 40 bpm got a shot within 15 min felt great . Went to another hospital doc said we can do one of 2 ways. Go up Mr Winky and extract it or be put on drugs and wait . I decided the 1 first one. 10 grand later all was good . He said once on the drugs i would not be allowed to work . So i opted for the quickest way out. Good luck .
