My outlook on the NRA is ditto. They also had a reduced rate on a 3 year membeship which I took.

I became a life member 45 years ago. Paid the same for my lifetime membership then as you can get today with that special. Of course back then that $300 could have bought 8 oz of gold or 300 oz of silver. Whattaya reckon that would be worth today?

Chuck...Thanks for the offer to help, but another member "beat you to the punch".
If others interested, the number to call is 877-672-2000. With the sponser information I noted above, I was able to get signed up with a single phone call using a credit card for the $300 fee.
