Here are some pics of a new 45cal barrel for the beloved Savage ML-II, let's see if the owner will chime in or if he will make you guys wait until he he gets it back and stocked.

It is VERY nice and I know the owner well. Actually my daughter. Sinarms has been very good to work with. He always answered my questions in a timely manner and has been a pleasure to work with. Awaiting an exhibition stock to match up with that great looking barrel. It also has the WCE illuminated scope so it should make a good package. I told Devin Sinner ( I like that name) of Sinarms that if I can shoot groups half as close as he holds his tolerances I will be a happy camper. That is on my watch, he has done his part. I am sure it will look even better when I get to see it up close and personal but for right now it is some States away. Good things take time but soon enough it will be here. He can provide more details than I, I left a good part of the decisions in his capable hands.

Jim. It looks great can't wait to see the finished gun and then some 1 hole targets. I'm curious to see how you like that twist. What are the specs. on the finished gun? Jon

The barrel is a Brux with their interrupted fluting and it is a 6 groove 1/28" twist and it finished at 26" with a 11 degree target crown.

Nice barrel and fluting! I shoot a Brux on 600 yard competition rifle and have no complaints with it. Richard

We can't wait to get it stocked also and on the bench. I will do the stock work and that will take some time and as Devin Sinner predicted he would be finished before my stock arrived from Richard's Microfit Stocks. So there is no confusion that is not our Richard but a company out of southern California.
