A little heavy but very usable if you access to a lathe. Why do deals like this pop-up when there is no mad money funds?....

Murphy's law Rossman. I had to pass up a great deal on a scope last night for the same reason. Mad money account needs some time to rebuild

From what I remember it is a family business and they were button rifling their own barrels. I think the one that runs the barrel side is Brian. A friend dealt with them some a few years ago and it seemed the only guy that knew anything was Brian. Anyone else seemed dumber then a box of rocks.

Rossman40. Thank you for the input. The barrel is tempting. It is the right specs for what I was thinking about doing except for the .400/.408. With the work people are doing trying to come up with a good 40cal. bullet I was thinking about a .392/.400 barrel so I could go full form die. Jon

Should this be on the buy/sell link or are components not considered weapons? Just asking......

Ask proboards!!! They are the ones that screwed up the buy, sell section. You better move it, some idiot might think of the barrel as a weapon.

Al has a .40 Montana barrel, I believe he said it was a great shooter. I have one for my .45 project that is nearing completion. We snagged ours on a close out sale, $70 each contoured and rifled to our pleasure

I believe he knew that going in. I think the only one they had on closeout was a .403. He bought it knowing sizing wouldn't be an issue for him. My barrel is right on spec I believe.
