I have had it rough hunting yotes for the past 6 months or so,,, I have shot a couple but only when I was already deer hunting with a 7mm-08,,, this being said my .233 that is my bang up drag through the thickets yote gun,,,has seen alot of hunts in the rain and snow, has been bumped, dropped, and treated pretty rough with the same 3 shells in the mag for the last 6 months,,, these rounds were looking rough,,, corroded brass,, top one had the lead nose all bent up and smushed from being chambered 20 flippin times on 20 different hunts at least... so after my last fruitless yote hunt I decided to shoot them out to see if I was still on,,,, after I got home I shot 3 fast shots off of the lead sled at 80 yards,,,, lead sled is always up and target is always up so no big deal,, I even shot the first shot on the 1.5 setting on the scope, then went to 6x for the last 2,,, all three made a really nice tight cloverleaf about .25 to the left of dead where I want it. ,,, my eyes about buldged,,, just shows ya never know,,, 55 grain win soft points and about a full load of varget,,,,best group I've ever shot with that gun

I repoed the 6.5x55 from the ex today and took it out and fired 9 shots without a cool down and all nine landed inside a 1 inch square. But I never have to adjust that scope. Always right there. it rode on the back of a four wheeler on an elk hunt one year for 5 days in a soft case and when I got home it was still dead on. What kind of scope and bases are you using. this one is a sightron SII 3-12x44 mil dot and I love it. I have a 4-16x44 MD on my 6.5-284 and it has the most accurate tracking I have seen on a scope in its price range.

Same as my ml2 and other savage rifles,,, warne maxima steel bases,, burris sig Z rings,,, have a burris sig, 1.5-6 scope,, have 5 or 6 of that model. I prefer the older ones where the adjustment ring dosn't turn the eyepiece,,, only thing I don't like about that scope model is that each click ='s .5 inch at 100 yards,,, sometimes I end up a little left or right of dead center,,,, but I'm ok with that

Any slight wind will move it that much anyway.
