Dave- I still shoot the copper Barnes 275 xpb sabotless but did not degrease after sizing. Maybe you guys are on to something with the grease. I mostly shoot a duplex 4759 as my booster,2015 as my main. My loading force is pretty stout, maybe 60-70 pounds. Any ideas what force you guys are pushing? Thanks The 250FTX takes approx 50lbs to start and 20-25lbs the rest of the way down. This bullet loads easier than the 275BE since the base does not spring back much, the bottom 1/8" or so of the bearing surface barely touches the rifling if at all. I would say my initial guess was pretty close for the 275BE.

I have the bad bull shooting sabotless. I do not swab between shots and don't have any loading issues. With the bad bull he recommends using the vegi wad between the powder and bullet. I know its lubed with something, maybe this wad helps with not having to swab between shots. I have not tried shooting without the wad yet. The 275BE he supplies with this muzzleloader have 2 cannellures put on them. I could be wrong but this might help with making it easier to load. Might be something to try if you are shooting sabotless.. Mike

Richard, Once again just my opinion, but in my favor, I have shot a great many sabotless rounds, I like to think I was helping Rick, at least he was kind enough to say so. By using all cooper bullets, in my case Barnes 290gr. TMZ, there is no spring back problem, and once you get it down pat, its a speedly operation. I also believe the tighter the fit, the better. I use a one ton press, if I was to do it again i'd get a 2 ton, Smoke has broke one ton press's, he maybe the grand master of resizing. So here it is New Years eve, and I'm offering advice to one of the wiseman of the board, Is that a good way to start the New Year?

mtj555, Do you buy your 275 b/e from badbull, or do buy them from parker, And size them yourself.

smokeless77- Last time I talked to Mr. Parker he was working on the cannellures design and was thinking about offering a customize sizing per customer. This has been a while ago so could of changed,in fact I almost forgot about it.
It would be nice to order bullets to size with no additional sizing,

If I remember right, I thought Bob parker would size them for no extra cost.

mtj555, Do you buy your 275 b/e from badbull, or do buy them from parker, And size them yourself. John John, I got them with the gun when I purchased it. He has other bullets to use also. Speciffically the Hornady 250 SST, Barnes 250grain as well. I have used the 275 Parker in my buddys bad bull and the results were devastating. I think if I were going after something larger than deer at these velocities I would go with the Barnes. I shot a nice 9 point drop tine a couple years ago with the bad bull using the 275 BE. Shot was 120yards, bullet didn't exit but everything was completely destroyed inside, it was like a grenade went off in the deer. In fact, when I picked up my deer from the processor that referred to me as the guy that blew up the deer. I hit the deer in the boiler room. DRT. I would like to try the 325BE later on. It looks like it might have higher BC than the 275 which might mean less drop at longer rangers but my TMR reticle on my mark 4 works perfectly for my set up. I have holdover reference up to 410 yards. I would like to shoot at 500 yards but no place for me to shoot that far in my area that I am aware of. Mike Mike
