I have been barked at for the last 3 weeks while deer hunting, deer season is over,, the rats are in trouble now,,, I'll have the .22lr savage instead of the 7mm-08 savage and they will go flop,,,,,, course I'll probably see a really nice buck at 20 yards

Go get um Posey I would rather eat squirrel than venison. The last two yrs has been rough on um in my area, drought and then last yr no acorns. The hickory nut dropped in August. Hope you have a great Sq season, Rusty

You gotta get in a stand or they know the gig is up. I tried to shoot a few with the ML last week and they ran like scalded cats every time I flinched.

Been hunting them here too. I usually see about 5-10 in an afternoon. We have both fox and grays. I've been hunting them in hollows surrounded by cornfields....seems they been raiding whats left of the corn, since we have a scare supply of acorns left! Like to say I've been putting a hurtin on them, but only have taken a few, using a old Marlin Lever Action with open sights. Sure is addicting! Have a great day! Dave
