Started out at 57 degrees and only got in 6 shots before the wind kicked up. Three shot groups, sorry Richard , all at 100 yrds. I shot 54 grs of H 4198 under the new 195 gr Barnes bullet, blue Harv CR and Win primers. Nice clover leaf with bottom two touching and the third shot a little high. Measured 1.018". For the second three I shot all the same except I used the Harv smooth blue sabot. This group printed a little lower and a little right and kind of strung out but measured .880". Ole Baldy is happy. 54grs is Fun to shoot and kicks MUCH less than my Mod 94 30-30. Will try 55 and 56 later today if the wind lays down. will also try and post pics at a later date. Thanks for all the help , Rusty

Rusty............Ya'll gotta be in "Hog Heaven!". Those are great groups. So who cares if they "strung?" .8" is about a One holer And don't worry about my five shot groups. I'm just a stubborn benchrester and "anal" about bench gun accuracy. You will kill plenty of critters with that load. Richard

54 grains shot well for me as well, about all I could burn in the short barrel.

Way to go, Rusty; and thanks, Richard, for the open-minded comment on the 3-shot groups.
