Opening morning. 50-60 yard shot. Deerslayer II 20g with 2 3/4" Accutips. First shot spined him, second shot was a little far back, but killed him pretty quick. Would have liked for him to have a couple more of those long tines on each side, but then again, it's a pretty unique rack. I think he's an older deer. Can't see it in the picture, but his hide was all torn up, and I think he'd recently been blinded in one eye. Any guesses as to what he'll score?

Great 6! I'm guessing 120" for a score.

Thanks guys... I'm pretty pleased with it. My biggest deer to date. jnrbronc, Very good guess. I just got done giving him a rough measurement and got 123" gross which includes the 2" sticker (originally longer but had been broken off) on the right beam. This was my first time ever so take it for what it's worth, but I tried on to stretch any measurements. Whyohe, The beams are 2 3/4" from touching. I guess there's a 180" class buck running around the area I was hunting that has beams that almost touch too. That's what I thought I thought I was looking at when I first saw this guy, but quickly realized he was missing too many points to get to 180".

Assuming 10" G2's, 6" G1's, 22" main beams, 24" mass and 17" spread........117. Not sure how the 4th mass measurement is calculated on a 6 pt.
Very very cool deer...a shooter for sure

Then I goofed because I just did one mass measurement. I just took a mass measurement at the base and between the brow tines and the G2. Add a few more inches to his gross.

Here's the score sheet. I'll have to add a couple more mass measurements tonight. Should push the gross well over 130".

Looking at the sheet, I shorted you on main beam length and mass. Oh well, it was just a guess off an internet picture, LOL.
I bet there aren't many 6's that break 130.

Yeah, it's tough without seeing stuff in real life. Here's a side view that shows the 14" G2 on the left side real nice. I must have been pretty excited because I managed to cut myself pretty good just pulling my knife out of its sheath.

If anyone cares, I came up with a final gross of 134 6/8" which includes the 2" sticker. The net was 128".

Great buck; Saw one almost that big here, but in the area I hunt 6-pts are illegal, it has to have 4 on oneside. This is becoming a problem since we are seeing more and more mature bucks carrying 3-per per side. All bucks I would be more than happy to take. Congrats on your deer! Have a great day! Dave

No biggie. I find these sorts of discussions interesting. In real life, there's very few ideal QDM scenarios. We try to let the 130-140" deer go where I hunt, but another group that hunts around (and through in some instances) where I shotgun hunt shoots everything over 125". Gets kind of frustrating.
