Lucas is progressing slow but sure. There were some trying times getting his digestive system going again but he is eating now and is taking baby steps walking.
Because of his youthfulness, I look for him to progress rapidly as he heals...hope so anyway.
All the support and prayers have been a blessing and I will tell him about them when he gets home.
Thank you my friends
Mike

Friends,
An update on Lucas' condition.
Lucas was able to come home yesterday from Levines Children Hospital in Charolotte with the understanding that his physical therapy could be accomplished at his home town. 100 miles closer to home.
He is recovering but has to wear a body brace when upright for the next 3 months. His head is still a bit distorted from the skull fracture but his doctors have said that in time it will return to normal.
Your prayers have been appreciated and may have been the difference from a bad outcome. God has blessed Lucas and his family.
Thank you
Mike

Lucas is recovering well. Still in the body brace but it will come off in about a month.
He says he is not going to climb any more trees and he would like to cut down the tree he fell from. No we will not cut the tree down, it will be a reminder for him to be careful.
Thanks to all for the prayers and caring.
Mike
