Is that charge by weight or volume? Is this a smokeless rated gun as well?

I'm trying to see where the one piece barreled action was cut for the new Douglas barrel to be installed. Is it cut and threaded ahead of where the breech plug would be? Just trying to visualize this. I'm waiting on the range report. I'm sure it will shoot.

Od dimensions were exact1.075 and and hand polished to make virtually seamless. All machining was done on action side of breech plug thread so all chamber pressure is contained with full 1.075 barrel strength. Alot of blue print work and measuring but end result came out great.

A six shot group, twice as good as a three shot group and even Richard would approve of 6. I think we all would approve of the group, especially the first time out. I think it will shoot even better as the bore gets just a bit seasoned. Hoping you bring home some gold from Friendship.

Well great results from crazy knight debut at tournament. shot score of 245 and 8 Xs out of possible 250 and 10 Xs .. very happy with everything. had gusting 15 mph wind all day to deal with so alot of twisting turrets and scope tracked well. for a bonus after tournament we shot 2 shots at 500 yd small goat shilloute steel targets for a soda pop against fellow shooter . and heart shot it twice woo hoo . 15 moa elevation 75" and 8 moa windage 40" windy windy 13 mph at shot .

First time out and collecting the metal/medals. You should be a happy camper. Just wait until you have a chance to really get it wrung out. Your competitors will want to have you banned.
