I was looking for this buck through bow season, he is the largest that I caught on camera this year. He alluded the Mathews but the Savage with a 300 grain XTP was just to much. Apx 140 yards clipped the right front shoulder and he only made it about 30 yards. Hats off to my buddy, Kim . My Rhino is down and he showed up after dark to save me from the 1/2 mile drag up from the bottoms. I thought I would have to start a fire and eat on him for awhile . Being 6'2 and 320 I am much better at eating than packing ..... (;Attachments:

Buck was rough scored @ 163" . Load was 45 grains of 4759 with a 300 grain XTP and a MMP sabot. Shoots 2100 fps in my rifle .. Even at 140 yards the wound was devastating .. Ruined the front right shoulder just missed the left ... Big exit hole ...
