Just had to post this: got back from indiana last night broke in my cousins shurley bros custom for him since i wasnt comfy with shooting my 700 ml 300yds. ranged the buck at 312 yds and layed prone in a picked bean field and took the buck shot it with a 45 cal 300 grn i think parker bullet wow that weapon is awsome i have to start saving up. Just build your 700ml,it will kill at 300yds with a panor or mcgowen barrel. Nice Buck by the way. Were you shooting the 73gns of 4198...that shurley recommends? That sounds like a shoulder ripper to me. Parker now makes the 300gn bullet, that might be a little less recoil. Greenhorn

I watched him mesure out 74grns and yes i think it was 4198 he gets 2800 outta the muzzle with that 300 grn alluminum tipped bullet

update just got a phone call form indy my cousin shot a 130 to 140 inch 8pt at 300yds with the same gun i will try to get a pic up
