I kicked this 3yr old 4x4 out of a ravine Saturday morning. Just got the pictures so I decided to show you guys. As mulies sometimes do, he stopped at the top of the ridge for one last look. When he turned to face me I didn't have time to range him so I put the crosshairs on the tip of his nose and let go. You can see where I hit him. The 195 Barnes traveled the length of his neck and exited at his shoulder. It was a steep downhill shot and later ranged at 254yds. The young lady sitting by me is my hunting partners 11 year old daughter and has a couple nice bucks under her belt already....Thank God we were able to drive up to him to load him up....200# field dressed ..... This week was the regular rifle season so I've still got the Muzzleloader season coming in December. I caught a glimpse of his big brother so I'll be on the lookout for him.... These smokeless ML's are the only way to go in these wide open spaces. Zen

Panhandle
Nice shooting and Congrats on your success.
Yeah man handling the big boys is no fun but worth the effort when later sitting at the table. Good hunting to find the bigger brother.

Way to go Zen. Nice to see another species on here once in a while. Go shoot his big brother so we can see him too.
