Just had a chance to try out the wolf small rifle mag primers. These are fantastic primers for the price. I would be bold enough to claim that in my rifles they rival the CCI bench rest primers. The price is low $100/5000. There are 2 different types. The regular non standard primer are a copper cup and will not take as much pressure as the magnum primers which use a brass cup. I am currently hot loading my 223's to NATO specs and there are no signs of pressure as of yet. The chrono has been showing very consistent velocities and I am more than pleased. There has been some rumors floating around the web about poor performance of the wolf primers but then again the bench rest forums have been loving them as well.

I could not agree more! I have yet to have a misfire/hang-fire with wolf primers. I hate their ammunition, and I am not happy with the round to round consistency within the same lot, but I do not hesitate to use their primers in anything I fire.
