I got one of these and found a video that shows it off pretty well. RCBS ChargeMaster 1500 Combo. I compared the 3 main ones available and nearly every review comparison picked the RCBS. So far im glad i did. I had some Cabelas bucks, plus a $20 off, plus a $50 rebate. Ended up at about $250 with tax.....plus no payment or interest for a year. Im paying it off anyway but thats a deal they have going til Sept. 15th.

I replaced my old PACT scale with the RCBS 1500 scale awhile back and it's been a great scale. I guess I'm gonna have to replace my old Uniflow measure with the Chargemaster dispenser to go with the scale sometime....that Youtube video really shows well how it operates.

There are several good videos. This post is actually more about using Youtube as a info tool as a try before you buy. I got similar results as the video. The Hornady version is kinda cool too (2partVid) but not quite as fast or accurate. You still get an idea of if its what YOU want. The Hornady for example is a all in one unit. Some may prefer that.
And i wanted to let everyone know the deal Cabelas has IF you use the Cabelas Visa card before Sept 15th...i think. All RCBS products are covered atm and upto a $50 rebate too on sales of $300 or more.

I bought the Lyman several years ago. Generally speaking, these things are over kill, but then again what do we use that isn't? I use mine for my 600 yd .223 loads. I only use stick powders, and these things are the only way I've ever found to throw and accurate charge of them. The only problem with the Lyman is that the bottom of the reservoir is flat and doesn't empty well, but I think they have since fixed that. I've also gotten lazy enough that I made an angled plug to fit the bottom of mine so that it does empty a lot better, and now I use it to throw most of my "short runs" on reloads I've found that its faster to clean one of these things out and use it than it is to set up a thower when I'm only doing 20 or 30 rounds of something. They also work well for developing test loads where you're only doing 2 ~ 5 rounds at a given charge and then moving to a different charge.
