I just acquired an Encore Pro Hunter Muzzleloader in a gun trade, I love the look and feel of it, just can't make myself want to shoot smoke again. I'm considering having someone do a smokeless conversion on it for me but I'm also liking some of the Remi 700's I've seen on here. I could do the Encore cheaper I would think since I already own the gun. I've got a Savage pac-nor .45 already so I'm considering a .40 build this time and maybe getting into the whole sabotless game. Is this possible with both the Remi and the Encore? I'd appreciate some of you guys thoughts, should I do the Remi or the Encore and what caliber?

you could do either. many here have. you could go the bullberry route or buy a 45-70 barrel for the encore and have smi do a conversion on it or do the 700 thing. you could always sell the pro hunter and buy a 700 but it takes a while to put everything together (just ask some of these guys). you have several options
