Any of you guys had to buy jags for making rods to sell? brass 50cal with male 10-32 threads. I found TC jags for about $3 a piece. Seems like somebody ought to beat that. If I could get them with male steel threads I wouldn't mind $3 so much. The Barnes bullet aligner is around $7.50 and has steel threads, but thats to high. Any suggestions? Qty's of 100-1000

You might want to check with all of the manufacturers of jags to see if you could buy direct. That way you might get a better price buying bulk. Do you know some one that has a lathe that could turn some brass? Or but a mini lathe and turn your own bullet aligners and jags. Just an idea.

Thats a good idea. I see that Knight is using Easton arrow shafts for the ram rods on their new guns. I wonder where they are getting thr tips for those.

I am going to call company on monday that makes custom fasteners. They have cnc machines that feed round stock. They can make lots of them fast. They also do runs as small as 100. We'll see how the price is.
