that is refreshing to see some thing positive in the news for us pro gun people. i hope they dont over turn the rule about the nationa parks. we have had some attack in ours. granted not often but it does give the criminal a place to attack some one. we have alot of walking and horse riding trails that do go deep into the forests.

That is definitely some good news. First time I have read on a national level democrats actually trying to uphold our second amendment rights.

My Congressman has a high mark from the NRA. Sadly my Senators are not so good.
IMO the important thing is the NRA. Like them or not, agree with their methods or not, give them 35 bucks and be a member. They print a couple of decent magazines. I usually send them a couple of bucks a year for the legislative fund.
As for the vast amounts of junk mail you may receive from them, tell them to stop. I get no mailings at all save renewal notice and then only two months before it is due. They did not stop this on their own. They did send me a DVD one time and asked me to pay, I replied that they could continue to send me all the FREE merchandise they wanted to.
If you own a gun and want to keep it, and are not a member of the NRA, you really are nothing more than a person enjoying the fruits of the labor of others. NO ONE looks out for your 2nd amendment rights like they do. Time to step up to the plate.

good thinking all,right now they have their plate full with this bad economy thing,eventually they will move after gun control imo
