Great article Richard. My gunsmith gets this magazine and I really enjoy reading it when I hang out with him. Thanks for posting it. Rusty

Richard in the artical in mentioned the shell can twist or move in a loose chamber. I thought it would fire form to the chamber before the bullet left the brass then down the barrel. So that it fit the chamber tightly and straight to the bore as it is fired. And could the change in the brass case cause change the BC? Or am I missing some thing?

Have you noticed that when you get a misfire in a ML (where the primer ignites but not the powder?) and the primer actually moves the bullet some distance away from the powder? The same thing in a CF? Just the primer alone get the bullet starting to move...........then the pressure builds! Richard

Thank you Richard for taking the time to share with us all such a superb informational/educational article. I personal found it extreamly helpfull as it lessend my fears as i at least once a range session and often more, smack my crown on my 10ML-II while loading extreme tight fitting sabot/bullet combos and I litteraly cringe and feel sick after doing so. I can usually count on blowing that shot as I am so freeked out about possably having damaged my crown.
Now I feel much better. FWIW I had read similar articles before, but never one so compleately done.
BTW what does a sub to PSM cost? espacially a multi year one?
Thanks, Arthur.
