Since it was 30 deg. here in NC this morning I decided to test my pet load of 45-4759 and 250sst - actually today I used the 250sw blems. Had planned to shoot at 180yds. but the wind picked up. Suppose to be 11 deg. the next 2 days, hope to try again. Great time to experiment and test loads.

Chris, I use the short harvester and give the bullet a slight knurl. This comb. works like magic in my gun.

Larry
That.t is definitely some nice shooting. I can imagine what your 180yd groups must look like. 4759 is still my favorite brew with a 250gr bullet. Currently I am using HPH-24 sabots but have some black Harvesters on hand to give a try this year.

Tks guys for the kind words. Of course this gun will not shoot this size group every time out- but it shoots very good if I do my part It does require some tweaking like most all guns to get consistent groups. 4759 has worked well for me. I have shot over 8lbs. and not one misfire. Herman told me he has prob. shot 12-15lbs.w/o a misfire. You do sometimes have to adjust 1-3grs. from lot to lot. Just depends on what a person wants. I like to shoot and tinker, so I will prob. eventually get a .45 barrel and put on another MLII. Larry

Nice group there Larry. Three shot groups are sometimes luck. Five shot group like yours is definitely skill. Steve
