Yesterday the Arkansas State House by a 56-43 margin voted to undermine the Constitution of the United States and to disenfranchise the voters of the state of Arkansas in presidential elections. According to this bill, HR 1339, Arkansas' 6 electoral votes would not be based on the vote of the people of Arkansas. The bill has now been sent to the Arkansas state senate. This bill would make Arkansas join with Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey and Illinois in such lunatic legislation. More information at: www.coffeeshopfun.com/?p=66If you live in the state of Arkansas, please contact your state senator and urge them to oppose this ill thought out legislation. If you live in another state be alert to similar efforts to remove your voting rights in presidential elections. It is being pushed in states all over the country in an attempt to subvert the constitutional provisions of the electoral college without amending the US constitution. In so doing it subjects the voting rights of state voters to those in more populous states in different areas of the country. It could award your states electoral votes in a presidential election to a candidate that lost the election in your state by 10, 20, or even possibly 50% or more in direct opposition to the will of the voters in your state!

Just another attempt by Democrats to cheat until they ensure their permanent reign.
Doesn't do any good to call them, I tried that, they laughed. They're Democrats, after all!
Sad stuff.
Founding Fathers really didn't want this Federal Unified Government that folks keep migrating to. They wanted individual States to rule, under an umbrella Fed. They gave a lot of rights to the States, but it's eroding annually.
The Chasm deepens.
