I have had good experiences with Shooters Ridge. I have a Zero Kick rest and lost a rather special nut that holds the rear strap on. One email and in less than a day I had a response and they were sending some . No charge.
Ditto with Mr Heater. They make a nice propane heater. I have a couple and they see a lot of use in the deer blinds and ice fishing tents. The old one quit, way over ten years old. After a little trouble shooting and an email to the company, I received a call from a Tech. A new regulator was 45 bucks and a 25% chance it was no longer made. I took the call on a cell phone away from the heater so really could not check the type of regulator.
For 55 bucks I got a new heater. Its reconditioned, to them meaning returned from a major retailer and then checked out. I was told I would get a carry bag with it. Heater came and no bag. An email and a prompt answer. Bag on the way and we are sorry for the mis-communication. I came to find out that only Menards carries the heaters with the bag.
New heaters run about 80 bucks or so.

Shooters Ridge is a ATK/Federal company and since they bought Weaver they brought in Weaver's customer service guys and dealing with the Onalaska Operations (all ATK/Federal non-ammunition civilian market companies have consolidated at Onalaska, WI) has became much better. I think a lot of companies have realized that CS counts. With the internet a bad experience with CS can be spread all over in minutes and the shooting crowd is a tight bunch.

That's nice to know about Shooters Ridge. The Zero Kick Rest is one of the best investments I ever made for load development at the range. If the Caldwell Lead Sled guys ever tried it with all of its adjustments, they just might pitch their Sleds in favor of the Zero Kick Rest. ;D
