My wife bought me this electric grinder for Christmas (http://www.cabelas.com/product/Home-Cabin/Food-Processing/Food-Grinders|/pc/104798880/c/104723280/sc/104364180/Cabelas-Heavy-Duty-Meat-Grinder/1083204.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fhome-cabin-food-processing-food-grinders%2F_%2FN-1101293%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104364180%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%3BMMcat104791680%3Bcat104723280&WTz_l=SBC;MMcat104791680;cat104723280;cat104364180) and I tried it out today. I thought it worked great, was easy to clean up too. Everything is metal except the gear driving the auger and of course the motor/ body. It came with a sausage stuffer attachment but I haven't tried it out yet. I did read/follow the directions and prepped my deer for quite a while before grinding, which may have added to the ease at which it seemed to work. I was pleasantly surprised.

Have been using one of the Cabela's 3/4 hp. grinders for years and it has done a great job.If you don't have the stainless steel blade and plate I would suggest you get them. Not very expensive but don't rust as the steel ones do.
