I'm looking for a gun safe, anybody got a recommendation on a place to buy from. I need somebody with some free shipping and reasonable prices. Looking for something as big as possible but less than $1500.

I worked for Sentry Safes for 14 years. They are extremely well made. A few steps above a Stack-on and a step below the cadillac companies.
I left in 2003 and they were just beginning to add many variations. I have 2 of their smaller ones and I love them. Bolted from the inside to a few wall studs and to the concrete floor.....very secure!

+1 on the sentry. I have the "fireproof" one, with combo access on the front (has a key back up). I also have a couple of stack on units...one at the camp and one home for some misc guns with low value and no sentimental attachement. But the good stuff is in the sentry.

Dad has a Liberty and I have a Browning. Both are very nice. I can't remember if the name is frontier or freedom (or maybe both), but I've seen them at big gun shows and they are nice as well. If you don't want to pay shipping, you will need to buy locally. I've noticed that Tractor Supply Company is selling Cannon safes. I think they are a step down from a Browning, but they are still a decent safe for the $$. They are also selling Winchester safes. As a rule of thumb, I don't buy anything that says "Winchester" on it unless it's a model 70 or a revolver. The stuff that they re-brand is generally junk.
If you are going to get a heavy fire rated safe, don't skimp out on getting the thing installed unless you know what you are doing. They are HEAVY!!!
Just my too bits,
Mark Mark
