does barrel length in a muzzleloader make a difference as far as velocity and accuracy. what would be the difference between a 24 inch and a 26 inch. thanks buzzyb

For BP, and I guess the subs, the longer the barrel the more powder you can burn and therefore more velocity. For accuracy it's a combination of bullet shape, weight, rate of spin, etc... Short barrels can be just as accurate as long barrels depending... 10 ga
