Does anyone know where I can buy a hammer extension for a TC omega? Would a hammer extension even work on a Omega? The only hammer extensions that I am aware of are side extensions.Would that not interfer with the operation of the Omega?

I just received a like new TC omega Z5 with a thumb hole stock and a omega scope in a trade. My issue is that if I have gloves on I can't fit my thumb between the hammer and the scope on the gun. I really think it is a bad design not to have a complete hammer so that you can use a side extension. A regular side extension would hit, I contacted TC and they don't make one. Seeing if there is anyone who has the same issue or knows where to find a part to make it work.

I have both a .45 and .50 Omega with laminated thumbhole stocks. A hammer extension will not work. I have med rings on both guns and have no problem cocking the hammer.

I think I will stick with my 700 ML and move this one on even though it is one cool looking gun.

Started snowing today and nothing like hunting in the snow, looks like I am giving the gun a try on coyote and fox tonight. I will let you know how things go.

I took the TC out and man that gun is a shooter, it has a great trigger and holds steady in the hand. Looks like I am keeping it.
