At a whopping 18 yds! ;D ;D Sneaky little bugger! ;D I had a commanding view and was just thinking nothing could sneak up on me undetected... 60grn of N120,blue slick harvester,195 grn Barnes.approx 2650-2700 fps guessing? 30 yard death run.Nice fat doe! Now I got to get busy butchering....

Way to go Rick! I can relate to that long shot. Many years ago I got a Ithaca Deerslayer II which was a huge step up from the shotguns I had before and shot one in a bed a 10 yards to break it in . You'll find that Barnes does the same thing to the heart at 100 yards.

I do not think I can improve on it at this point. We will see what cold weather brings.

Tar,
Nice to have a Barnes in the tube for the close shots. You probably had to aim a hair high at that range ;D
