Like any caring wife, mine wonders what the heck I find so interesting on this site about "THE GUN". Last weekend she came and sat down next to me and asked if I was always reading the same thing over and over, or is it new stuff everyday! She acted like I was having an online affair! Haha. Of course she doesn't really think that, and knows I love her "DEERLY", she just doesn't get what our passion is all about. It seems that's how most women see it, I guess. When the new Savage arrived, she asked if it does the same thing as all our other guns, "doesn't it just shoot a bullet?" I explained what the difference was, and she shrugged it off. Her mother had made mention that at least she knows where I am and not out getting into trouble somewhere. Thanks MOM! They come from a serious gun-hunting family, so they know the importance and loyalty to our sport. I know I have the love and support of them which makes life very much worth living each and every day. Who would have thought that a Savage muzzleloader could keep a marriage strong!? deadeer

I would have asked her if all of her shoes do the same thing..."Don't they just cover your feet?"...

Deadeer, my wife coincidentally was using my computer when I asked to check the Board; she came across your thread and couldn't stop laughing. She has had all the questions your wife raised with you.

My wife was sure I had some hidden lover till she looked over my shoulder and then checked my ebay searches (no jewelery) just scopes, scope rings, bases ,gun stocks....... I find myself checking out buy sell and trade, three or four times a day(got to be fast or you'll miss out) and Reading the latest post . good thing I'm retired, work might suffer. She's happy I found a hobby, but complains it cuts down on her ebay time. We also strongly support Hunting raised my children on venison, they were shocked that everyone doesn't.

Thats funny deadeer because most of us here have gone through the same thing. Now when mine walks in all she needs to do is see the green screen and she is calm as a kitten. The hard part to hide is all of the credit card useage because of the green screen.

Mine snuck up on me one morning. Totally out of character for her to get up that early. I am pretty sure she was expecting to see some skin or something. She is very good at checking the CC statement, too.
You think there is some kind of Dori's Message Board for them to share notes and tend to act this way?

As little girls they attend a special school that prepares them to make a man miserable or happy. Dating is to determine if they failed or passed the course. If they passed they can then elect to make or ruin your life. You don't bring up the foolishness of a closet full of shoes and purses and expect them to sit a drink of your choice by the computer and extend a hand for a high five. BTW, that high five is making a personal connection as surely as a kiss on the cheek. Growing old connected is the only way to get the most of marriage. Ozark
