I see n120 is available everywhere again($30 a lb ). Last year you had to get 8 lbs to even try it. Is it 60g still one of the preferred loads, I haven't had time to hang out much lately. What yall shooting now? PS, what did yall move the site for? I been sending folks to the old board from other forums!

60gr +/- 2g of N120 was and still is a great load with 300g bullets with a tight fitting sabot.
Another option is H4198 at 65-69g. It will get you a little more speed than N120 but along with that speed comes a little more recoil. For expample, in my gun 60g N120 with a 300g .458 Barnes Original and Harvester Black Crush Rib sabot shoots about 2330 fps. 67g of H4198 with the same bullet and sabot shoots right at 2400 fps. If you're not that sensitive to recoil than 69 or 70g of H4198 will get you up around 2500 fps.

I've been shooting 62.5g of reloader7, with a bcr and a bo or smokeeter mod with very good results. shouldn't the 60g n120 be faster? I know most folks like more r7, but my rifle wont group it any hotter.
