Several of you have seen my post and I hope all of you still have a good impression of me. I really enjoy this site and I have learned several things since I have been here. I have also been amazed at how friendly folks have been toward me and how much assistance has been sent my way in building my Remy 700 ML by various members, thanks to all of you. The Accura crowd has also been very helpful in getting me dialed in. I very much appreciate it.......
I am just a good ol southern boy even thou I don't live very far below the Mason Dickson line. You will have to look over my spelling as it can be terrible at times, especially if I am typing fast.
I built my first ML when I was 16 in 1976 and have enjoyed ML hunting ever since. I spring Turkey hunt with a 3.5" Mossberg, bow, ML and rifle hunt whitetail's in the fall. I have been know to go on several Montana bow hunts for Elk and I finally got one on my 4th trip a few years back, a fine 6x7, he's on the wall.
I like and collect old military rifles so if you have a question maybe I can help. I also reload for all my rifles, to may calibers to recall just now. I am known in several places on the web by my handle here so if you see me on Gunboards, Parallaxbill's, Mauser Central, etc. just give me a shout.
Regards, Smokepole50

Welcome Smoke! I spent a good amount of time in Montgomery, Pulaski, Bland, Floyd and Giles when I was a student and on staff at VT (68-77). My first wife was from Grayson and I have cousins there and in Bluefield. I learned to turkey hunt in "them thar mountains" and enjoyed all my time out there. Welcome and hope you have a good season and enjoy your visits here. Best, 10 ga
