I saw this on MM....It's a interesting video on how Zeiss scopes are made...It's easy to see why they're one of the best.

Not a bad video. You have to remember that only the high end ($2K+) scopes are made in Germany. The Zeiss Conquest line is made in the US in a plant ran by Meopta.
Another interesting point was in the glass room where the were showing you Schott glass but all the boxes in the background were marked Ohara which is a Japanese glass company.
