Hey All I was saving for a T/C saw some bad reviews of the encore. Saw good reviews on the Knight Kp1. Bought 1 .Shot it 4 times and the firing pin broke. Sent it in they installed a new one and sent an extra. Are they trying to tell me something? I was a little upset then it took me three days to get ahold of the Kp1 warranty guy. The gun shoots great. But im scared of the trigger group failing again. If I had seen the savage before I bought this gun I wouldnt be having this trouble. I cant afford two MLs. Im afraid I wont get near what I paid for the gun if I sell it. My question is should I get rid of it and chalk the loss up to experience or keep it and hope someone comes up with a better trigger group?

The KP1 is probably a fine interchangeable barrel centerfire option but IMO it leaves a bit to be desired with the ML barrel. They usually are not very clean although there is a possible aftermarket breachplug in the works that might help. I know one for the Visions is on the way.
IMO if you want a Knight, the Extremes or Elites are the best deal and shoot great. They are incredibly clean with the Lehigh NFPJ conversion in all my Knights. A friend has one for sale right now for $250 with the Lehigh conversion included on the MM board.

thanks gmb54120 the ml shoots good very accurate when it fires. I read the extremes were very good. Im shooting blackhorn 209 so cleanup isnt too bad. Im going to shoot the KP1 some more and then decide what to do.Ill take a look at that gun on the board thanks again Dave
