Oldest daughter, You are indeed a fortunate girl to have Ben for your father. Please keep us posted. The board is not the same when Ben is absent.

Ozark, I am the 'scribe' for my two uncles aged 77 and 74. We have never posted but Uncle Jerry called this morning and asked that a note be sent "wishing you a speedy recovery". I gave them an old computer and they have read everything that you have ever posted. Hope to see you back soon.

I hope for the best, with some of the discussions we are having on the "Back Porch" it just isn't the same without him.

UPDATE: Have just been released from Hosp. It was a flare up of COPD which is a part of the beast. Excellent care at good hospital with great nurses and staff. Will be bothering you folks with my bull for awhile yet. Sure missed your comments. No pain here. Just a lot of extra medicine to handle. Requested brain surgery but they told me that Medicare and Tri-Care-For Life pays only for complete removal. Be with all you later. Thanks for the well wishes. Ben

My wife at times thinks I need brain surgery, I think it would be microsurgery. She thinks the ScareCrow in the Wizard of Oz had a bigger brain than I do. Good to hear back from you.

YO! So glad you are ok. Hate it that you're hurting. Getting old is NOT for wimps, huh? Makes me wonder which hospital a man in Leslie uses. I'd hate to think you were right out here the whole time and I didn't go visit! If you do the lobotomy let me know. I've been looking for a donor for a transplant for some time!!!

I use Ozark Health located in Clinton (18 Miles south of Leslie). It is a new hospital whey exceptional management, staff and care givers. Doctors are not reluctant to seek help from other doctors and all personnel are good at keeping the patient informed o what they are doing and the reason for it. That facility is a great asset to our community and it is basically neighbors treating and helping neighbors. I get exceptional service and spending a few days there is like visiting old friend. Ben,,,,Buckrub, if my brain was used to replaced yours you would get the short end of that trade. Ben
