Has anyone tried any of the lighter weight Barnes XPB bullets such as the 185 to 225 gr/.451 diameter in a sabotless rifle? I have tried the 275's in my savage .50 cal and they were not that great, if I remember correctly I think right around 1.75 to 2.0 MOA. I'm currently in Iraq and ordered a new Swinglock .45 a few months ago and have been ordering a few componets for it since then. I won't receive the rifle until sometime around November but in TX we can hunt all the way through mid January for deer then there are hogs, predators, and exotics for the rest of the year. I will probably have to use the Savage at the beginning of the season but hopefully will be able to work up a load with the Swinglock and use it for the remainder of the season. Any thoughts or info on these bullets would be appreciated before I order them. Thanks.

I shot the 275s they shoot good in my rifle, with a real slight knurl from the files. 45 sabotless that is.
