I joined the board here a short time ago after reading and soaking up as much info as I could for about 2 years. I want to appologize for not introducing myself properly before now . I have already "met" some of you through other posts and thank you for the acceptance on this board I am a fatherof 3 ( 9, 7, and 5 years old) and a husband of a wonderful lady. We live in Alberta and are blessed with some great mule deer hunting where I live. I much prefer hunting whitetails but thats about 3 hours of travel time to get to decent hunting. It is that much sweeter when I get to go though ;D I have grown from hating my Savage to it being my favorite weapon because of the great info on this board. I have been cursed (or blessed) with an "inquiring mind" and the smokeless thing has been a frustration but also very rewarding. I still shoot a stock 50 cal SS/laminate except for bedding. At 44 years old I seem to know a lot less than when I was 16. I used to have all the answers...now I have kids (and a smokeless ml) They have both been very humbling. I look forward to learning a lot more from you guys

Stubblejumper
Welcome Aboard
Yeah the 10ML-II can cause frustrations and a rewarding experience when it starts to come together. Nothing wrong with owning a 50cal. SS model as that is also my go to setup. Also it will be a long time before an inquiring mind is satisfied with little boredom along the way.
Alberta is a beautiful province that I have visited a few times while on different jobs. I could call it home if I had to move there.

Welcome stubblejumper. Hope you enjoy the board with us. Never been to Canada but have seen many pictures from there. I did spend some time in the Seatle Washington area. Just never made the trip the few miles north. Ozark
