rbinar: Did I read that you live in Texas, I thought you lived in Arkansas. It is late at night and I had a full day at work, am I missing something? I thought I received my modified breechplugs from you in AR.

I thought I received my modified breechplugs from you in AR. From my shop I can throw a rock and hit Texas. From my home I can shoot a duck over my back porch and him land in Arkansas.

Thanks RB.We will try the H322 and Benchmark. Is there any problem with ignition with either of these two.One thing we did not have a problem with the H41198 was the ignition. If we could get the velocity up to around 2500 with reliability we would be really happy, any probably would not bother with sabot-less.Also for those that may be interested my 50 cal stainless shoots a load of 45 grains of 5744 with a Barnes 250 gr expander and a number 12 mmp into a nice little cloverleaf all day long. Its only doing around 2000 fps but it is very dependable and accurate if that combo fits your barrel well.I took several deer with it last year. One was a 142 BC from Illinois. The shot was about 150yd and the bullet went all the way through and the deer went down on the spot.I mention this for anyone that may be looking for a good load for there 50 cal.Not a lot of velocity ,but gets the job done very well. Thanks for your help.Twister

I've shot enough of it to tell you that direct. I've shot Benchmark but not so much I can assure you with confidence. I can only say it hasn't misfired so far with a few shots.
