First off...thanks to all that replied to my question on the #3 drill bit.
I got into a pretty decent deal on a stainless/synthetic 10ml-2. I've owned some synthetic stocks in the past, but none as flimsy as this stock. I'm afraid to even shoot it knowing that I will be set up for dissapointment.
The kind of stock/s I would be most interested would probably be a laminated stock with either a thumbhole or silohuette/pistol grip style grip, comb and flat wide front end.
I love some of the style of the microfit stocks, but cannot wait a few months for one to come in. If anyone knows of a pre-owned stock or a maybe a stock that I can retrofit to the 10ml-2 please let me know. I'm pretty open for ideas right now. Thanks for your time and input.
Buck

keep a eye out in the classified, or post a WTB, no doubt somebody has something gathering dust!!
You can check Boyds also, they probably have something for a Savage, might need to make a cut for the ramrod.

I didn't care for the tupperware stock either so my 45 pac nor is sitting in a BC duramax stock. The are a injected molded stock I think but do take bedding pretty well. The other is sitting in a savage laminate. But the 1st 2 or 3 deer killed with one of my savages was in a tupperware, won't hurt to shoot it and see what it does

As flimsy as that stocks reputation is, it hasn't seemed to affect the two that I've set up for my brother-in-law and buddy. 42grns N110, short black MMP, 250gr sst and brother-in-law is whacking and stacking, many deer under his belt. He's in love Last year was the first year for my buddy, he shot a doe and a nice buck, he's also in love

You didn't scare me away at all and thanks for the pics! Whatever stock I end up with will be bedded and have a third pillar. I have had a few different offers so far, but haven't made a decsion. We'll see what happens soon enough. Thanks again. Buck Buck, Hope I didn't scare you away from the Boyd's FW Thumbhole with my email about the bedding and pillaring job? Boarhog
