I didn't know where to post this, I figured this was the most likely place for it. I do a fair amount of moose hunting, have done since I was pretty much legal and tagged along before that with my dad. I thought that this year I would rework a project that I used in the past. It was a silhouette of a cow moose, the previous one was made out of 1/4 in. plywood painted black with a piano hinge to fold the sucker in half and make it more manageable but it was still heavy. This time around I picked up some plasti core in brown and got a photo of a nice cow quartering away I drew it on the plasti core and added some paint and voila this is what I came up with both sides are painted . It's lightweight and waterproof. I figure if I place it in amongst some small trees in a fairly visible location it should fool old Bullwinkle after he comes in to see whats making those amorous calls. Whata ya'll think.

Be careful you don't get ran over by a love struck bull when you are carrying it. ;D
Seriously though, looks great.

Smokeeter
Looks good.
It appears the cow is looking around to see if anyone will see her snatching some grapes from your neighbor’s vines. ;D
If the bull spots her as you are depending on line of sight and doesn’t scent her will he still come? Do you have in mind adding some scent with the decoy to get his attention?

If I was a bull moose, I'd hit it She has that "come hither" look in her eye...
