Rifle looks great.You may want to try some of the hornady 110 v-max with that same load of 4895. They shoot great in my 1:11 and 1:12 twist,should shoot just as good in a 1:10.

My luck with A & B barrels has been with the 150 & 165 (better with the 165) but to be fair I've never tried the lighter bullets

I am very well pleased with the following load What interested me in this action for a re-build intially was the testing the P.O. Ackley had done on all the Miliitary Mauser actions at the time. He took I believe it was the 1903 a1, the 303 british Enfield, and 98 Mauser, up to 90,000 cups to complete failure of the action. The Arisaka was taken up to 120,000 cups, and he still could not get it to fail. At least that is the story that I have read. j:)

feed her some Varget, I haven't seen a 308 yet that didn't like that powder.
