Very nice looking setup Richard! Can't wait to see what it can do on the range. The writing on the barrel is awsome. Judging by the fence height, those must be some pretty short cattle that you're trying to keep fenced out of your yard. ;D ;D ;D

Very NICE! They look like Millet rings from what I can see. The etching adds a very nice and unique touch to the rifle.

Richard Looks like in the future when you do certain modifications for others you might receive some requests for personalized “Electro Etching”. Hope your new setup prints targets as good as she looks. Ed

:)Rifle looks as good as I can imagine a rifle can look. If you want to get rid of that big, ol heavy Nightforce, I might consider trading a new, modern, in high demand, WCE. Even trade of course.
I am interested in whether you will end up shooting it sabotless or saboted. Also of course, I'm interested in the groups you obtain with each.

Good Looking rifle, If I owned it I would need a gun bearer to carry it.
Good Luch, I trust it will shoot as good as it looks.

Well, thanks for all the encouraging remarks! I sure hope it shoots. This SAVAGE venture the past 15 months, sure has emptied my pockets! Still waiting on backorder components from Mid South. Mainly the Harvestor sabots. May have to call Harvestor direct. Also, awaiting that bullet resizing die from Lee for the "sabotless" trials. I will keep the board updated on my result........Good OR Bad! I'm hoping I get BORED shooting "one hole'ers" ;D rather than "shotgun patterns!" I must say, pushing a sabot down this barrel is like "night and day" from OEM barrel Richard

Richard, you were just a little bit early. I just saw where they are back in stock at Midsouth and ordered 20 packages. Lots of difference in price but when Nitro and myself were running low we had to do something. Good luck on your shooting. I can tell you this, 60 grains of Reloader 7 and a 200 xtp shoot very well out of both Nitro's and my .45 PacNor's.

Tick: I have already loaded five each, vials of Re-7 in 60, 62 and 64 grains for my initial outing. Thanks! Man, that Harley shot some awsome group at 400 yards! Richard

Richard, thanks for the comment. I'm looking at your rifle with the high mounts and wondering how you weld your cheek to what looks like a fairly low comb.

That remains to be seen yet Harley. I just happened to have those mounts on hand. They may have to be changed. Need to shoot it to find out. I may just put my 4.5 x 14 Short mag back on it. The Nightforce might wind up on the heavy 1,000 yd. rifle. I'm hoping that with the weight of the rifle, the recoil should not be excessive and I might get away with the "cheek weld" thing. I don't use it with my bench guns. Richard
