In Ohio we can hunt turkey past noon for the first time. Are there any special thoughts on how to hunt near sunset?

set up close to where you know them to roost, soft yelps and purrs and do it spuratically, it's a waiting game so be patient.

Saw 1 hen in an open field. Not a single gobble. Do they gobble less at sunset compared to sunrise?

Are you hunting public or on private land?
