sorta off the ML's here, but I have a Ithaca Mag 10 I'd like to reblue, or get camoed dipped.
You guys have any good sources with decent turn around times?

:)al would you consider painted? Lee from black ice does a nice job and he's got a pretty fast turn around.

Al, There was a guy on this site a while ago that did the wrap coatings and showcased his work. Blackhawk was his handle I believe. His work looked flawless. I haven't seen his name pop up lately though.

Sorry guys, I'm just no help at all. Although I was talking to GREENHORN the other day and he was describing something along the same lines. I wonder if each had anything to do with each other??

Ithaca Mag 10, AL... You're after my heart. Have one with extra barrel. Had screw in chokes put in the plain and vent rib barrel. I love my # 10s. Also have a Browning Gold in # 10. Each is set up for different stuff but they are both shooters. Mostly I use tape or Krylon to camo the Ithaca. Browning came camo. Good guns they are. 10 ga

I have long lusted after one of those pump, or auto, 10 ga., but they just keep getting pushed down the priority list by things like food and shelter! For 20+ years, my turkey gun has been an H&R single shot 10, and it has accounted for all my turkeys and a goodly number of geese. It is way past needing a good re-finish job. I think I like the looks of the camo dip. I saw it being done on a TV show not long ago. I can't imagine how it works, but it looks fabulous!

10ga been meaning to drop you a line to see if you reload for the mighty 10. One of the guys my bro works with had this gun, it's the deluxe model but had been left in it's case for the last few years. If I told you what he was asking for it (and I paid), you'd shun me forever!!! The barrel has some very minor pitting and discoloration typical of such, but when I hit it with the Flitz, the finish all but came off. What was really wierd, I did the reciever first with no problems, but the barrel made the rag turn black in the first pass. Kerry had sent me this link, www.tarjac.com/I was quoted a base price of $175 including the return shipping. They offer a pattern of the month that's less 30% and have been running a sale on 8 other patterns that are 40% off. Hard to pass that up, so I plan on sending the ole girl off after turkey season this month.
