I hoping to get some information on this bullet. I can push it around 2550 of my IN rifle and am wondering if anyone else has used it. If so how did it perform for you. Thanks in advance

reports only from others. it is a pistol bullet w/thin jacket, shoulder hits have reportedly been dismal(volatile) explosive resulting in some wounded game very much like high velocity xtps/sst's in smokless mz speeds. i would definetly think about the barnes 200/225 tsx. i have mine(225tsx) going 2600fps w/.5 moa accuracy, tested today out to 682yds,mostly @ 500yds. hard to beat barnes performance! hope this helps/jmho

I sort of figured as much. Sort of a shame, shoots very well out of my set up, oh well just have to use a 200 and go a tad slower. Thanks for the reply

I imagine if you stay off the shoulder and got for a broadside rib shot they would work just fine. Sometimes we ask bullets to make up for poor shoot selection and some bullets will and some wont, fragile bullet usually don't. Mike

i agree mike 3132 but we do make mistakes at any given range. a tougher constructed bullet might just let us off the hook given bad placement, too bad a placement it would'nt matter. some people are just speed minded only,no reference to bullet construction, another mistake/imo. just to bad solid constructed 180gn bullets in this caliber does not exist to my knowledge & of couse this caliber has alway been a red headed stepchild ;)until now in indiana!

Ok folks just heard back from hornady, they claim 1600-2400 fps we might have to see what they do this fall if I can't get the 200's to fly as good
