Goal was reach 2250 with 200 gr bullets. I did better than that almost to the point that I'm giddy (I said almost). Mauser action .358 A & B barrel F44 countour 19.5" long Round is my 35 short (I've decided to call it 35 rjh) (a 358 win shortened .283 and the necked trimmed down for the rest) 180 hornady SP 2500 200 coreloc sp 2460 Powder H4198 OAL 2.323 with the 200's 100 yard zero, point and shoot to 170 mol (3" low) with 1700 foot pounds energy. 6" low at 200 with 1600 foot pounds. ;D ;D ;D

not trying to trump you r/53,but i have been playing for about 2 weeks now,my go to load is h4198/ 225 barnes tsx @2600fps w about .5-.6 moa @ 100& 200yds,time for me to get out around 500yds & play some. i did get the 200tsx up to 2800fps today w/1 moa. this 35wssm is a fun gun so far . it definetly looks like for my chamber h4198 is the powder after having put many different burn rates downrange, good luck

no problem your not trumping me at all. Sort of like saying that a 300 mag is faster that a 308, it is what it is. I've heard that varget is the powder for the 358 wssm but it's good to here something else works too. My 358 bfg is probably 6 weeks out and I appreciate the imput.
