Most hunters spend a lot of hunting time in a tree stand or blind. How do you pass the time when there are no deer to decide on? I like to have my camera along because there are often interesting things to get images of. One never knows when a hawk or even an eagle lands near your position. Then there is always those deer you decide to pass on. I don't handle boredom real well so I keep reading material nearby and plenty of snacks. With the digital camera available it is inexpensive to look at your pictures on the PC. Also you can adjust the composure and make a poor picture look good. I have a Panasonic DMZ-18 which is equivalent to a 35MM and has a zoom capable of zooming in to 72X. That pulls images in close from way out. $350. will get you an excellent camera and much better than the ones you have with the cell phone. Getting a good shot with the camera is close to taking a shot with the rifle. It requires many of the same skills to get a quality shot. But high dollar cameras with expensive lens makes a difference.
