I called them this morning to order one and the man at Natchez told me that in Alabama and only 2 other states that they can only sell to dealers. Sounds stupid, but that's what he told me.

I talked to my CFO yesterday, showed her dougedwards post, and she merely asked "Which one of MY guns is this going on?" A simple call to Natchez and a couple of numbers and its on the way.

I looked under ordering information and right near the top of the page it says "Offer not valid in Tennessee, Georgia or Alabama"
The guy told me it was because of their parent company's rules. Your guess is as good as mine why these 3 states are being excluded.

Actually she is fairly naive about scopes. I had a VX-III 2.5-8 on a Model 7 CDL that she decided she would like to hunt with. I enjoy her company and was sitting beside her when she took a good bear. So I did what any red blooded man would do....I swapped scopes and stuck a Burris Fullfield II on the Model 7.
The Burris is a good scope. I have the opinion that the Leupold is better. And better suited to the rifle I carry. So she did what any red blooded women would do and decided she didn't want to hunt this year. I really like that Model 7 and carried it quite a bit this year...with the Burris on it.

SW and I made a trade on scopes. His (mine) arrived today. A great guy to work with, I just hope the Weaver made it to his location fine as with the weather I have not heard from him.

SW sent an email to me today. He got his scope, I was hoping a tree hadn't fallen on it. What a mass of destruction they have on trees and power lines. Praying everything works out as well as can be expected over the next difficult weeks.
